Jeff Gilette uses Disney books as his main medium in all these pieces - cutting, pasting and collaging. But it's his technique of painting over the collage creating depth that gives his painting life. Yup, I thought those were just paint on canvases when I saw it online! It's a truly remarkable process and something you really need to see in person. His work is currently being displayed at Bert Green's Fine Art Gallery in dtla.

As fashion week debuts the new Alexander McQueen collection, designer Sarah Burton certainly has big shoes to fill - and filled them she has. I think Sarah has done an amazing job at embracing who the late McQueen was, and will always be! Overall, the collection has shown tremendous effort in paying homage to his legacy - you will forever be missed and remembered.

There's always something intriguing about jewelry shaped from everyday things. So you can see how fascinated I became when I stumbled upon a jewelry designer who did just that. Joanna Szkiela is the mastermind behind RedSofa on etsy where she sells her one-of-a-kind handmade jewelry. My favorite? The Paint Tube necklace - because we all should keep the artist in us close at heart. .. and forget about angel wings; how about crab claws instead?

It's official - fall is here! .. and LF has put a lookbook together that pretty much sums up this seasons' fall trends. From lace, military and shearling to an abundance of boots. Oh, and don't forget the big hair.

LITAs, LITAs everywhere! Back in July, Jeffrey Campbell teased us with these big chunky obsessions only available in limited colors. So I did what any shoe-obsessed person in their right mind would do; I bought them in Mustard. But words on the street is that they've arrived in an assortment of new colors and textile! ... and I can't seem to keep my eyes off the electric blue pair that fashiontoast snagged from an LF store in NYC.
